WHAT IS "HOLISTIC BOXING" EXACTLY?

Holistic Boxing is my own brand of boxing combining authentic traditional boxing and holistic training. Authentic traditional boxing training deals with the mental, emotional, physical, spiritual, and social aspects of a fighter and their required lifestyle. A fighter has to face the utmost pressure, to go against all odds, to risk their health and life, to control their emotions in highest pressure situations, to stay socially clear of trouble and anything that could interrupt the training lifestyle or take them away from the sport and their goal or dream. They have to overcome all weakness. They have to conquer all fear. And they have to build the confidence and self-belief that they can climb from the bottom to the top to become a world champion.
I offer the discipline, lifestyle, mentality, and training of a boxer packaged into fitness classes that combine the mental and physical aspects of traditional professional boxing training so that its benefits translate into all areas of a person’s life. It is a blending of fitness classes with real professional boxing techniques for skills and drills as well as boxing-style strength and conditioning. I build people up mentally during the training by injecting the knowledge and mentality into them during every round of physical work. In each class I’m constantly instructing, correcting, motivating, and giving one on one attention to each person in the class.

Boxers have always had to get themselves into peak human physical condition and peak mental condition with full confidence, courage, clarity, calmness, creativity for optimal performance. The training and discipline required is taken very seriously because (there is a real risk of their health and even their lives) they put their lives on the line when they step in the ring and precision and timing in a sport where movements and reactions happen in hundredths of a second and one punch can change everything.
